Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. Begin by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Once you’ve submitted that, our advisors will walk you through grants, Direct Loans, VA benefits, and flexible payment plans that could make tuition more manageable.
JT’s Cuts Academy offers training that is built around real guests and authentic feedback, so you can turn technique into confidence on the salon floor. Small class sizes get you up close for demonstrations and coaching, and day and evening schedules help you stay consistent with your hours. You’ll also learn the business of beauty, gaining skills in consultations, basic retail, and building client loyalty. These skills will help you use your skills to create steady work.

The Cosmetology Program includes 1200 hours of classroom learning and hands-on training. You can complete this training in as little as 40 weeks, but progress is measured by how many hours you put in and what services you perform. Because of this, your progress can vary. An admissions advisor can give you more information about your expected timeline based on your schedule.
Cosmetology covers hair, skin, and nails, including chemical services, skincare, and makeup. Barber training focuses primarily on men’s haircuts and grooming. If you like all things beauty and want to offer more services, the Cosmetology Program may be a better fit. If you want to focus on offering men’s services, barbering might be a better path for you. Our admissions team can help you decide which program is a better fit for your goals.

No experience is needed! Our program started with foundational theory and builds on that knowledge with hands-on practice. That means beginners and self-taught artists can both build their skills.
