Your tuition covers all classroom and clinic instruction, plus a professional student kit. The kit contains commercial-grade clippers, trimmers, shears, straight razors, combs, workbooks, and more. Both paths build a solid foundation in barbering skills, but the Restricted Barber Program is only 600 clock hours versus 900 clock hours for the full Barber Program. Restricted Barber training concentrates on men’s cutting, shampooing, sanitation, and traditional straight-razor shaves. The full Barber Program also includes training in chemical services such as coloring, relaxing, and perming. Students often choose the Restricted route if they are eager to enter the workforce sooner.
